Dogs are one of the best things in the world, if not the best. I’m sure many celebrities would agree. Throughout certain time periods, there seems to be a dog that is trendier than the rest. Remember the teacup chihuahua craze that was going around about 8 years ago, also known as the time of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.  That tiny short haired dog was the must have accessory for any Hollywood fashion lover.                                     Then about three years ago, it seemed as though the teacup yorkie was the dog of the moment. Miley Cyrus having one alone was enough to make every tween girl in the world want one. Paris Hilton changed her routine of continuously buying chihuahuas and bought the cute little brown and black fluff ball as well. The newly famous puppy even entered into the modeling spotlight when Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bundchen bought yorkies. The adorable hand sized pup added the perfect touch to any outfit.              Now, in 2011, adopted mutts are the best dogs you can get. A growing number of celebrities have felt the need to help out the number of increasing homeless dogs by adopting. More and more celebrities are adopting dogs and you should too. The number of dogs in need of a home has shot through the roof, this having a lot to do with the bad economy and all of the natural disasters that have occurred. Shelters can not support all of those poor animals so they have no choice but to kill them. Many more people have realized the importance of adopting including Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz who adopted his dog Kola. Sandra Bullock adopted her two dogs Poppy and Ruby. Ben Affleck, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Mischa Barton, Charlize Theron and so many other celebrities have all adopted dogs. Even Paris Hilton has joined the trend and adopted a rottweiler. Follow in these celebrities footsteps and adopt a pet. It’s one of the nicest things you can do.                                adopted pups of celebrities
