Being environmentally conscious, very cool. It is in and always will be in. The absolute easiest way to do that is to stop drinking from plastic water bottles. I can not stress the importance of this enough. You will never see me carrying a plastic water bottle. I always have my WaterGeeks stainless steel bottle instead. Buy a filter, use tap water, and fill up a reusable bottle. Now WaterGeeks even makes bottles with filters in them! There is just no excuse. Laziness is the only argument for anyone who chooses to buy plastic bottles instead. Aside from helping our environment, stainless steel bottles are actually becoming a fashionable accessory. Rachel Zoe agrees saying that ever since she came across the WaterGeeks filtered bottles “they have been a mandatory part of my day to day.” If you do not know who the legendary stylist Rachel Zoe, get out from under your rock. There’s no reason to continue to buy plastic bottles. You’re wasting your money and wasting our environment.
The 90’s are coming back. Knotted tops are everywhere this summer. Yes, the innocently flirty fashion that was making its way around the 90’s is making its way around Los Angeles and everywhere else once again. If you don’t believe me, just ask Hollywood starlets Kristen Cavallari, AnnaLynne McCord, and Minka Kelly. Take any long top or button down shirt, tie it up and you can easily achieve this summers sexy look. Do YOU love this 90’s inspired look as much as I do?
Scarves have evolved into a year round accessory. They are no longer just a practical piece of clothing to help keep warm during the winter. They have transformed into a fashion must have for every season. Fashionistas Lauren Conrad and Kim Kardashian always use scarves as the finishing touch on a show stopping outfit. Throughout the summer, I always use a bright colored or fun patterned light scarf to accessorize my summer dresses or shorts and tanks tops. I get my scarves at the same place I get my floppy hats, D&Y.
Do YOU like scarves being used as a year round accessory or should they be strictly worn for the cold?
A fabulous hat is always in, but a specific style seems to be climbing its way to the top. Big, floppy hats are the it thing this summer. Fashion icon Kim Kardashian has been seen rocking this trend, along with the fabulous Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Camille Grammer, Nicole Richie and Nicole Sherzinger. The beauty of this hat is that it can be rocked with a sexy bikini at the beach or with a stylish outfit while you are roaming around Beverly Hills and get lunch at Villa Blanca . Also a big plus, you’re protected from the sun’s harmful, wrinkle causing rays while staying fabulous. I have become a big fan of this trend. My personal favorite go to place for these hats is D&Y. The fedora has had it’s time in the sun. Now it’s time for the big, floppy hats to shine.
What do YOU think of this fun accessory?
